i love ideas
they just hide
from me
taunting me
peeking demurely at me
from behind
the windows
the curtains
and the doors of my
psyche
glancing around
the corners
of my mind’s walls
i wish i could just
GET THEM OUT
shine a light
illuminating
a path
i there was a lighthouse
on the coast if my consciousness
maybe it could
guide my ideas
guide my thoughts
guide them here
thought
and ideas
to this paper
maybe
ideas

Such an eloquent way of describing writer’s block.

Suffering from that now. Writers block + no time = me feeling out of sorts.

I feel you. The thing with me writing-wise is that I usually outline prose in my head, only to forget the core of my thoughts once I transform them to paper. And then there are times where I’ll tap a few poems into Microsoft Word on my phone, but quickly abandon after not receiving the same personal feel as pen and paper, which threatens the creativity of it all.
